How do I know if my computer has a virus?

Your computer may have a virus if any of the following occur:

• Poor performance.
• Applications crashing unexpectedly.
• Unusual pop-up windows appearing.
• Web pages opening at random.
• Pop-up message from McAfee appears.

If you experience any of these symptoms then you are at risk.

You should stop using the computer immediately and contact the IS Service Desk for advice:
