What are automatic renewals?

Aimed at:  Edinburgh Napier’s staff & students

Automatic renewals are books, DVDs and CDs that you borrow from Edinburgh Napier University libraries and which renew automatically. Books will renew up to a maximum of four months (unless recalled) and CDs and DVDs for up to a maximum of 4 weeks, before you have to return them to one of our libraries. If something you have borrowed is requested, we will email you, asking you to return it to one of our libraries as soon as possible. Automatic renewal applies to Edinburgh Napier University items only, not to books or items obtained for you through the Inter-Library Loan service
