What do I do if I have damaged a library book?

What do I do if I have damaged a library book?

Aimed at:  Edinburgh Napier's staff and students

  1. Go to the Unidesk self-service page, scroll down to Forms and complete and submit a Library - Lost/Damaged Item form.
  2. If the book is too damaged to return to library stock, a Lost Item Bill will be generated and emailed to you.
  3. You can either pay the replacement cost quoted in the Lost Item Bill on-line via LibrarySearch (Sign In at the top right, then click on your name and My Library Card > Go to Fines & Fees and choose the Pay Now option) or you can hand in a replacement copy (can be used as long as it's in good condition) at any library help desk.
  4. In addition, there will be a £10 Process Fee to pay. This can also be paid on-line via LibrarySearch.
