How do I add a Group Study Room calendar to my University calendar?

Aimed at:  Edinburgh Napier’s students

This article explains how to add a Group Study Room calendar to your University calendar.
This means you can look at existing bookings and availability for a room before you book. You'll need to set up each room calendar individually.

Before you start, check your Time Zone is set to (UTC + 00:00) Dublin, Edinburgh, Lisbon, London. To do this, click on the Cog icon Cog icon Then search for 'Time'. Choose Language and Time Zone and check they are correct. Click on the back arrow to exit Options.

  • Click Import Calendar (on left hand side).
  • Choose From directory.
  • Type Group Study within the pop up box.
  • A list will appear with Group study rooms, select the most relevant one e.g. Group Study Room 0/19 Craiglockhart.
  • Click Add.

 The calendar will now appear in your list of calendars. Repeat this for each Group Study Room calendar you want to add.
