Can I borrow Library books over the summer?

Aimed at:  Everyone

If you are a current, matriculated student or a staff member at Edinburgh Napier University, you can still borrow books during the summer months in the same way as you would during term time. You must return any items that are recalled.

External users can also borrow during summer. Check the library’s opening hours as they may change during Trimester 3.

What is the maximum due date for the items I have on loan?

You can check the items you have on loan and due dates using the My Library Card section of LibrarySearch.

Students: Go to the Finding and borrowing books pages.

Staff: Go to the Automatic renewals Staff Intranet pages.
