How do I access my Office 365 email account from an iPhone or iPad?

Aimed at:  Edinburgh Napier’s students, Edinburgh Napier’s staff (users of Office 365 email only)

To install your Office 365 email account on your iPhone:

  • Tap Settings and choose Mail.
  • Click Accounts and choose Add Account.
  • Click Exchange.

          

  • Enter your email address and leave the description as default, click Next.
  • Enter your Edinburgh Napier password, click Next.  The following screen will appear:

         

  • Enter the following information:
    • Server:         outlook.office365.com
    • Domain:      napier-mail
    • Username:  Staff enter your University username in the format [yourusername]@napier.ac.uk. e.g. 40004321@napier.ac.uk
    •                       Students enter your University username in the format [yourusername]@live.napier.ac.uk, e.g. 40004321@live.napier.ac.uk
    • Password:   your University password.
  • Click Next and click Save.

Your account will be added and you will be able access your University email via the Mail icon.
