Accessing the NHS Knowledge Network
Aimed at: Edinburgh Napier’s staff & students
The NHS Education for Scotland Knowledge Network is the national online library and knowledge management platform for health and social care staff within NHS Scotland.
All staff and students of the School of Health and Social Care at Edinburgh Napier University who are teaching or training with NHS Scotland are entitled to register for a password to access the full range of services available on the NHS Knowledge Network.
What can I access on the Knowledge Network?
NHS Knowledge Network provides access to a range of online books, journals and databases, as well as a number of NHS professional subject based portals.
Many of the resources are free, but to get access to the full text of journal articles and ebooks, you can register for a password via the home page using the sign in/register link. On registration, NHS Scotland will issue Edinburgh Napier School of Health and Social Care students with an NHS Athens username and password that they can use to access the full site.
Forgotten your NHS Athens username and password?
You can retrieve your username and reset your password from this page.
If you have forgotten both your username and password, contact NHS Knowledge Network staff here.
