What is Skype for Business?

Aimed at:  Edinburgh Napier’s staff

Skype for Business is now available for all Edinburgh Napier staff members.

It is a unified communication platform that enables instant messaging, audio and video conferencing, online meetings and sharing through a unified interface or one application.

It will effectively enable staff members to:

  • Communicate with colleagues with ease, in real-time, without the need to be in the same office, campus or location
  • Make business calls using the internet or directly to a mobile phone.
  • Add audio, video and collaboration to Instant Messenger conversations.
  • Join an online meeting, from anyplace or device – even via mobile phones.

Further information can be found on the Skype for Business intranet page.
