When I use Resource Booker, will the booking automatically be added to my Office 365 calendar?

When I use Resource Booker, will the booking automatically be added to my Office 365 calendar? 

Aimed at:  Edinburgh Napier’s staff & students

When you make a booking using Resource Booker you will always receive email confirmation. 

Any item that would usually be held in the timetabling system will also automatically be added to your Office 365 calendar, this includes:

  • General  Teaching Rooms
  • Open Access Computers (but not within the Library)
  • Specialist Space & Equipment (Departmental Rooms)

Other items, such as Hot Desks, IT equipment and conference phones, will not be automatically added, you will need to add these in yourself.

Please note: any bookings made out with the hours 8am – 9pm (whether in the timetabling system or not), will not be automatically added to your calendar.
