Can I have multiple external incoming calls on a conference call?

Aimed at:  Edinburgh Napier’s staff

To make the conference call:

Step 1: 1st incoming call - press Answer, then click More until you see the Join softkey, press the Join softkey.

Step 2:  2nd incoming call - click More until you see the Answer softkey, press the Answer softkey. 

Then click More until you see the Join sofkey, press the Join softkey.  You will see "Conference" displayed on the screen.

Step 3:  3rd incoming call - click More until you see the Answer softkey, press the Answer softkey. 

Then click More until you see the Join softkey, press the Join softkey, you will see a tick next to the 3rd incoming call.  Use the Up/Down arrow keys to select "Conference" on the screen, click Join.

To add any additional callers, follow step 3 above.

Important:

Once you are finished your conference call, you MUST do the following:

1. Ensure you are the LAST person in the conference to hang-up otherwise the other callers will remain in the conference.
2. Inform Information Services of the end of the call to allow us to reset your account back to normal.
