How can I add a colleague as an alternative host in WebEx?

Aimed at:  Edinburgh Napier’s staff 

A person who is set as an alternate host is able to start the meeting without the presence of the person who scheduled that meeting.

When scheduling the meeting click Use address book....

In the pop-up window select Personal Contacts from the drop menu and then click New Contact....

Enter a name and email address and click Add....

Then click the name and invite as an Alternative Host and click OK…..

To set an alternative host for an existing meeting click My Meetings and then the meeting link.....

The Edit option provides access to the address book, and then follow the previous steps.....
