I get an Access Denied message when I attempt to visit a SharePoint site, what do I do?

If you attempt to access a SharePoint site (SPS) and receive an “Access Denied” message you should contact the relevant Site Owner – this would usually be your departmental Site Owner or Governance Focal Point.
