What is automated email protection?

All incoming email messages are scanned for viruses and junk mail using an automated email protection system, messages exchanged within the University are not affected.

Once the checks have been performed all valid messages will be delivered to your mailbox.

If a message is blocked you'll be automatically informed by email.

Occasionally legitimate messages may be blocked.  If you consider the message to be genuine then Contact IT Support.

Please note: blocked messages are only held for 10 days.
