How do I create O2 Distribution Lists and send messages to them?

Distribution Lists

To create a distribution list from your O2 mobile device:

• Key 901
• Key * to enter the main menu
• Key 6 to enter the Distribution List Menu
• Key 4 to enter the create a distribution list menu
• Enter the number of receipients required
• Key 3 to enter the add a distribution list menu
• Key 2 to add a mail box number (mobile number)
• Enter the mailbox number and key * to add

To send a message to a distribution list in the normal way:

• Key 901
• Key * to enter the main menu
• Key 5 to enter the Message Recording Menu
• Key 2 to record the message you want to distribute
• Enter the list number
• Key 0 to start recording
• Key 0 to end recording
• Key 2 to deposit the message
• You will hear confirmation that the message has been deposited

To embed Multiple Lists within One List:

The embedding of a list within a list allows the user to send one message to more than one list or more than 20 users at a time.

The total number of users who can be contained in a list is 99.

Below are the basic instructions for how to embed a list within a list and assumes that the original lists have already been created:

• Dial 901
• Key 8 to enter the main menu
• Key 6 to enter the Distribution List Menu
• Key 4 to enter the Distribution List Create
• Choose a list number
• Key 7 to add a list to this list
• Choose another (already full) list number
• Key 8 to save
• REPEAT the above to enter more lists to this
