What is my H drive?

Aimed at:  Edinburgh Napier’s staff 

Each individual Edinburgh Napier staff member has a personal data area on the network. 

This personal data area is known as your H drive.

We recommend you save your important personal University files to your H drive, as it:

• Provides secure data storage
• Is backed up regularly
• Can only be accessed by you unless you share your log in details.

University business records and information must be kept on a shared area such as the S drive or SharePoint where at least one other colleagues has access.
