How do I log a UniDesk call?
Aimed at: Edinburgh Napier’s staff
Before you log a UniDesk call you should check:
- The Service Status Screen to ensure that it’s not an issue we’re already aware of.
- askNapier Knowledge Base to find out if there’s already an answer to your query.
- Whether there’s an online UniDesk form for your request – this will ensure we gather the right information from the outset.
If, after checking the above, you still need assistance then you can log a UniDesk call by:
- Visiting: https://napier.unidesk.ac.uk
- Clicking on Use Self Service Desk – you will need to log on if accessing off campus.
- Clicking on the UniDesk New Call button:
- Follow the onscreen instructions to enter a brief description and then further details about your request / issue. Please include as much detail as possible.
- Click on the Send button:
You will receive an automated email which includes your UniDesk reference number.
A UniDesk call will also automatically be logged when you email the IS Service Desk or Library@Napier.
