Can I give externals access to view / contribute to a SharePoint Team Site?

Aimed at:  Edinburgh Napier’s staff

Anyone with a Napier ID can access Sharepoint Online. This includes those without a Napier email address, but who do have a Napier staff ID (e.g. limited associate staff or international partners).

• Those with a Napier email address should access Sharepoint using their Napier email address and password (example: a.staff@napier.ac.uk where a is the first initial of the first name and staff is the surname of the employee)
• Those who do not have a Napier email address should log in using staffid@livenapierac.onmicrosoft.com (400NNNNNN@livenapierac.onmicrosoft.com)
• NOTE: this will only work when sent a direct link to a sharepoint area, it does not grant access to Office 365 (www.office.com)
