What is a generic email account?

Aimed at:  Edinburgh Napier’s staff

A generic email account is an email account used by multiple staff members.

It may be used for specific departments, teams, projects and so forth.

Staff members who have access to generic email accounts can send on “behalf” of the generic email account.
