I don’t have a smartphone, how do I set up Multi-Factor Authentication?

I don't have a smartphone, how do I set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)?

Aimed at:  Edinburgh Napier’s staff

MFA can be bound to a mobile number, even if you don't have a smartphone.

Set up MFA here and choose “I want to set up a different method”, you will then be sent a 6 digit code.

If you do have a smartphone then we recommend using the App wherever possible as it is more reliable, secure and convenient.

Links to MFA setup guidance can be found on the MFA Intranet page
