How do I turn Clutter off in Office 365 and Outlook 2016?

Aimed at:  Edinburgh Napier’s staff

Clutter is a feature of Office 365 and Outlook 2016 - it categorises mail based on previous actions.

It tries to anticipate whether users will read or ignore the email based on what the recipient did with previous similar emails.

Further information about Clutter can be found on the Microsoft website.

In order to ensure students and staff don't miss any important University emails we recommend that you switch Clutter OFF.

Instructions on how to turn Clutter off can be found on the Microsoft website.
