What is a managed desktop?
Aimed at: Edinburgh Napier’s staff
Information Services develop and run a centralised desktop Windows service built on a distributed image, regularly revised and updated.
Any desktop running this image is referred to as a “managed desktop”.
The majority of fixed Edinburgh Napier University staff and student PCs run a managed desktop.
