How does the recipient read an encrypted email?

Aimed at:  Edinburgh Napier’s staff

When an encrypted email is received, the recipient will need to save and open the attachment and follow the on screen instructions to view the email.

If the recipient already has a Microsoft or Office 365 organisational account they'll be able to sign in and view the email using this account.

If the recipient doesn't have a Microsoft account or if they don't wish to sign into their Microsoft account they can view the encrypted message using a One-Time Passcode.

Instructions for viewing an email using a One-Time Passcode can be found on the Microsoft website.
