If you wish to access your Outlook archive off-campus through our Virtual Desktop Service then please follow the below instructions which vary depending on from where your archive are located:
If your Outlook file is located on your home drive (H):
1. Open up Outlook
2. Click on File then Open & Export after this click on ‘Open Outlook Data File’
3. Then navigate to the location where it is saved, most of the time it will be saved under folder named ‘Outlook Files’
4. Double click on the file and it should appear on the left hand side, just under your mailbox.
If your Outlook file is located on the Local machine at work (C drive):
Please note: If you are making any changes within the archive file for example moving emails from folders to archive file then
please be aware that the changes won’t be saved! We would advise using this as a read-only.

4. Copy the file by right clicking and selecting ‘Copy’ then navigate back to the Virtual Desktop and right click ‘Paste’
5. Open up Outlook
6. Click on File then Open & Export after this click on ‘Open Outlook Data File’
