How do I configure my Mac Mail client to access University email?

Aimed at:  Edinburgh Napier’s students

First open up Mac Mail and add a new Exchange account.

Select Exchange > Continue

The above screen will appear

Enter the following details -

  • Description: Edinburgh Napier University
  • User Name: Your Username (the format for is 00110001@live.napier.ac.uk)
  • Password: Your University Password

Click Continue: This might take a minute to go through.

You should receive a similar confirmation as above, click on continue.
Select which items you would like to synchronise and then click Done.

Once done, your emails should all be starting to appear.
